No upper age limit!

Last week we had two octogenarian visitors.

Susan came along to fly during the day time as her 80th birthday present.

Katherine came as part of an evening group event and did two winch launch flights. Katherine (aged 88 and three quarters) had flown gliders in the past, and was keen for an exciting ride, so arranged with her instructor to do some loop the loops!

There's no upper age limit to gliding (just a weight limit and lower height limit as described here). Getting into and out of gliders is a little like climbing into and out of the bath, so if you can do that, come and give gliding a try. Loop-the-loops are not mandatory on your first flight.
